Yves Choueifaty
Founder, President and CIO
Yves Choueifaty founded TOBAM and the Maximum Diversification® approach in 2005. He previously served as CEO of Crédit Lyonnais Asset Management after senior roles including CIO and head of financial engineering and quantitative management. A pioneer of the smart-beta movement, he is a frequent conference speaker and a member of the “300 Club”. He is a graduate of ENSAE and trained as a mathematician. Yves is also engaged in human rights and climate initiatives, including Human Rights Watch (Paris committee and finance committee) and the advisory board of WeNow.
Christophe Roehri
CEO, Executive Committee member
Christophe Roehri joined TOBAM in 2009 and has led the firm’s development with institutional investors and distribution partners worldwide. He brings around 25 years of experience across financial services and asset management, including roles at ABN Amro, Amundi and Crédit Lyonnais (US corporate banking and Asia corporate / leverage finance). He is a graduate of EM Lyon Business School (finance).
Tristan Froidure
Head of Research, Executive Committee member
Tristan Froidure joined TOBAM in April 2007 after designing systematic quantitative strategies for options at Lehman Brothers International (Europe) Capital Markets. He previously spent seven years as a senior portfolio manager at LibertyView (Lehman Brothers), co-responsible for the Global Volatility Fund. He holds an engineering degree from École Centrale de Lyon and an MBA from NYU Stern.
Axel Cabrol
CIO, Executive Committee member
Axel Cabrol joined TOBAM in June 2016 after co-managing the WB Opportunities European high-yield long/short credit fund at Butler Investment Advisory. Earlier roles include Barep AM (Global Credit Fund), Caisse des Dépôts (European sovereign bonds) and investment-grade trading. He is a graduate of ENSAE (statistics, economics and finance) and holds a postgraduate degree in statistics from Université Pierre-et-Marie-Curie (Paris VI).
Nadine Zrek
Co-Head of Client Experience & IT, Executive Committee member
Nadine Zrek joined TOBAM’s business development team in March 2016. She previously held joint business-development and product-specialist roles at Ossiam (Natixis), contributing to product launches (SICAV, ETF and structured vehicles) and commercial infrastructure. Earlier she worked in structured-product sales at Crédit Agricole Structured Asset Management. She is a graduate of ESCE and holds a master’s in trading and asset management from ESLSCA.
Nicolas Bégorre

Nicolas Bégorre has more than twenty years’ experience in asset management and financial technology. He has been CEO of TOBAM Ireland since February 2022 and joined TOBAM’s Executive Committee in 2026. He was a Portfolio Manager at TOBAM from 2014, Head of Index Business from 2018 (equity portfolios, quantitative strategies and indices), and Head of IT since 2017 (information systems, portfolio and research tools, infrastructure). He began his career as a software engineer in asset management and holds postgraduate degrees in computer science (DESS / MIAGE) from Université de Lorraine.
